I watched a discussion on the Gary Neville YouTube page. Neville, Carragher and Keane talking about this coming season. All the talk was about Man City and how much they've invested to build their squad, and Chelsea and how they've invested and built their squad, a bit of chit chat about Man Utd and how they've invested and built their squad and a few comments about Liverpool to which everybody wrote them off as not being contenders this season. I jumped ship and didn't watch the rest of the discussion. These giants of football punditry don't rate Liverpool as contenders it seems, simply on the basis that we haven't bought Grealish, or Lukaku or Sancho..no big investments to Liverpool I think was what they were saying, so Liverpool don't count in the top three. I can't wait for our squad, our magnificent team to prove these people wrong. In Klopp we trust. YNWA.

No doubt we'l help u along the way with 6 easy points, just hope we can take points off City (again) for ya.. clutching at straws but we can dream. Have a great season Pool people :)

The midfielder goal count question seems a bit unfair. In normal situations, sure, I would like to see goals out of them but the midfield had to really protect the back and guard against counter-attacks with an inexperienced, patchwork central defense. Also, typically one of the best defending midfielders in Fabinho was playing center back for quite a bit. You can't press to attack if it leaves you extremely vulnerable on the counter.

Klopp is also giving excuses which should have been given by the owners like the pandemic and many others, It seems he is a YES man in front of the owners. He even went on to say we did our transfer early so the money we sell in players is already used to buy Konote. Sounds strange but that's our manager. I think he should shut his mouth about other clubs also. Because for him he is contented with his squad so there's no need to mourn about other club's over spending. To be sincere we need a striker and midfielder. Or a right winger. If Salah get injured we are going to start examining. Now Rob is injured but because we have his cover we no problem in that position. We have no No 9 Firmino is a midfielder and Jota is a winger. YNWA
